Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. They will assist you with the necessary arrangements and transport you to your comfortable 3-star hotel in Kathmandu. At 1300 meters above sea level, you'll begin your journey in the vibrant capital city of Nepal.

Today, you will explore the rich cultural heritage of Kathmandu with the guidance of an English-speaking expert. Your private car will take you to the city's iconic sites, including ancient temples, historic palaces, and bustling marketplaces. Immerse yourself in the unique blend of tradition and modernity that defines Kathmandu.

After a 30-minute scenic flight, you'll land in Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. The trek begins as you head to Chhutanga, a picturesque village nestled at an altitude of 3400 meters. Enjoy a 4-hour walk through lush forests and along rugged trails, soaking in the breathtaking mountain scenery. Your accommodation for the night will be a cozy guesthouse.

Today's trek will take you from Chhutanga to Dholi Kharka, situated at an altitude of 4600 meters. This challenging 6 to 7-hour hike offers stunning views of the Himalayan landscapes as you ascend through alpine forests and open meadows. You'll spend the night at a guesthouse, surrounded by the serenity of the high mountains.

Continuing your journey, you'll trek from Dholi Kharka to Kothe at 4182 meters. This 6 to 7-hour hike leads you through pristine wilderness and provides an opportunity to experience the unique flora and fauna of the region. At Kothe, you'll rest in a comfortable guesthouse.

Today's trek to Thangnak, at an elevation of 4326 meters, will take approximately 4 to 5 hours. As you traverse the rugged terrain, you'll be greeted by breathtaking vistas of the surrounding peaks. Your guesthouse in Thangnak will offer warmth and comfort in this high-altitude haven.

To ensure you are well-acclimatized to the high altitude, you'll spend a restful day in Thangnak. This allows your body to adapt to the reduced oxygen levels, preparing you for the challenging ascent ahead.

Your trek continues as you make your way to Khare, located at 5000 meters above sea level. The 4 to 5-hour hike will lead you through remote mountain landscapes. In Khare, you'll find a welcoming guesthouse where you'll spend the night.

Another day of acclimatization at Khare is crucial for your safety and success in climbing Mera Peak. You'll also receive small climbing training to prepare you for the ascent.

You'll embark on a 6-hour trek to reach High Camp, perched at 5700 meters. This is the last stop before your summit attempt. You'll spend the night in tents, surrounded by the awe-inspiring beauty of the high Himalayas.

The big day arrives as you attempt to conquer Mera Peak, standing at 6476 meters. The ascent will be challenging but incredibly rewarding as you reach the summit and witness panoramic views of the world's highest peaks. After your achievement, you'll descend back to Khare, where you'll stay at a guesthouse.

Your descent continues as you trek back to Kothe, a journey that will take around 6 hours. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you descend from the high mountains to lower altitudes. Rest at a guesthouse in Kothe.

You'll trek from Kothe to Dholi Kharka, a 6 to 7-hour journey. Reflect on your remarkable experience as you retrace your steps through the breathtaking landscapes of the Everest region.

Today, you'll undertake a 7 to 8-hour trek to return to Lukla, where you can enjoy a well-deserved hot shower in your guesthouse. This marks the end of your challenging but rewarding trek.

Say goodbye to the Himalayas as you board a scenic flight back to Kathmandu. You'll be transferred to your comfortable 3-star hotel, where you can relax and reflect on your incredible journey.

Day 16 :
Departure

After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, our team will arrange your transportation to Kathmandu International Airport, where you'll catch your flight back home, carrying cherished memories of your Mera Peak adventure in Nepal.
