EBC Trek

10/10 guide and experience!
I have done Everest base camp twice with Bishnu now, once in 2015 and again in 2021. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Bishnu is a fantastic guide with vast experience and, as a local, knows the area and people really well. He has a wealth of knowledge to share and I enjoyed hearing his stories about climbing the mountains. I felt very safe and well cared for throughout the hikes. Excellent Guides offering exceptional service

Treking to Mt Everest (Base Camp)
Bishnu, made our trip amazing. His knowledge and experience is high level. We did the trek from Lukla airport to Mt Everest Base Camp in March 2010. A 12 day trek and 50Kms+ of treking. Bishnu was able to tailor our trip. A few of us got altitude sickness on day 3 and needed to stop an extra day to acclimatise. Many stories told of past adventures, animal life and the harsh weather conditions. Bishnu the BEST guide in Nepal.

Best Guide in Nepal - Highly recommend
My 2 daughters and I had the privilege of having Bishnu as our guide in November 2019 when we did both the Everest Base Camp trek and then a Chitwan and Pokhara tour. I found Bishnu to be the most supportive and encouraging guide who was able to help with one daughter and her anxiety and the other when she had difficulty breathing. Bishnu arranged to helicopter my daughter and I down to Namche and guided my other (anxiety) daughter down to meet us there. My daughter had nothing but praise for her solo adventure with Bishnu, 2 sherpas and 4 yaks when she met us in Namche. We were pleasantly surprised and pleased when Bishnu was also our guide on our extra tour of Nepal. We had so much fun white water rafting, safaris in Chitwan and exploring Pokhara with him and still to this day keep in contact with him. I wish Bishnu all the best with his new tour business, Himalayan Adventure Rising, and I tell everyone about him that has an interest in Nepal. Bishnu will always provide an experience above and beyond all expectations
From my first EBC hike with Bishnu and my son and daughter in 2015 to a second EBC hike with Bishnu and my daughter in 2021, solo with Bishnu to Gokyo Lakes and EBC in 2022 and the 3 passes hike in 2023 with Bishnu's son Sonam, excellently organised by Bishnu, I have always felt 100% safe in the expert and caring and knowledgeable hands of Bishnu Basnet. He has so much experience of all of the tracks and trails and mountains and is a fascinating guide with his endless wealth of interesting stories. Because of his depth of experience he is able to tailor every trek to the requirements of the trekker and because of his knowledge he is also able to be very flexible day to day on the trek. He is an excellent communicator and very fast in responding to queries prior to arrival in Nepal and has so many contacts that there is nothing that he cannot arrange. What an adventure!
